Pre-Health Planning

For most graduate and professional-level health programs, you must complete a set minimum of credits hours as well as specific prerequisite courses to be considered for admission.

Sophomore, junior and senior interdisciplinary science students work with Seth Leibowitz, Ed.D., executive director for health sciences programs and advising, on completing courses and other requirements necessary to enter professional-level programs in various health areas. You are encouraged to work closely with your adviser to plan your pre-health path.

Review the following pre-professional health advising tracks and pre-health majors on the VCU Bulletin to determine if the interdisciplinary science program will satisfy prerequisites for your future education and career aspirations.
